To put it short … I was expecting the Kaiser to make something happier and more spring-like. All the previous Chanel collections were lighthearted and incredibly feminine, so I was really surprised to see something as gloomy and dark as the following Spring/ Summer 2011 range.

Latest Spring 2010-2011 Bridal collection shows in New York were a bit boring. It seems to me, designers were either too busy with some other things or simply afraid to make something really new and fresh. Most of the dresses were shadows of the previous much better collections, or am I just starting imagining things?!
